Alycia comes from a family with ties to real estate and new construction so she has been exposed to the industry most of her life. Her aunt and uncle are in the mortgage industry and her dad has worked in new construction for several companies since she was a little girl. Alycia has had her real estate license for the past two years, prefers working in new construction sales and especially loves the work setting at Ten Trails. “It’s much quieter out here and away from the hustle and bustle of the city,” she says. “It’s just so pretty to look at on my drive here with all of the trees and nature.”

A Background in New Home Construction 

Mike has been working for many years in the new construction field, but his career started on an entirely different path over in Leavenworth, WA where he ran a mountaineering school for four years. That opportunity led him to become a youth pastor for several years, then he left that calling to become a new home builder. Before going back into new construction sales in 2012, Mike also spent time as a developer in eastern Washington.

Meet Ryan Summers, Sales Broker for Ichijo at Ten Trails

Meet Ryan Summers, a second generation broker from a family of brokers. Ryan grew up with discussion about the housing market part of his daily life since he was young. As he became an adult, his lifelong immersion in the real estate industry drew him to consider a career in that field. Ryan began his foray into the new construction industry as a journeyman carpenter, then went on to become a real estate photographer. Now, as a broker himself, Ryan draws on his past experience and family connection to the real estate industry to help clients find homes in today’s fast-paced Seattle market, and as a listing agent for Ichijo’s new duet models at Ten Trails!

Meet Marc Davidson: one of the many friendly faces you’ll see when you visit Ten Trails and tour our 15 model homes! Marc works as part of the Lennar team who are onsite at Ten Trails seven days a week to show customers their gorgeous new model homes and answer questions about investing in a new home in the community.

Marc is huge advocate for master planned communities, having lived in one for the past 12 years. “My wife Lisa and I loved raising our three boys there,” Marc says. Meet Stuart, one of the many friendly faces you’ll meet when you visit Ten Trails in Black Diamond, WA! In his position as New Home Consultant for Lennar, Stuart helps guests visiting the community select the perfect Lennar home to fit their family’s needs. Stuart began his sales career working for Magnolia Hi-Fi selling consumer electronics in the Seattle area. In 1989, Stuart made his move into the real estate industry and joined Windermere to work in their builder services division selling new construction throughout the Puget Sound area. Stuart then went on to work for several new home builders before joining the Lennar Seattle team last year along with his wife, Fay. “It was the best thing we could have ever done,” says Stuart. “Lennar is a huge company but it feels so much like a family-run business. Everyone is so warm and thoughtful and caring. The company offers a bunch of events and family days, so you really feel like you are part of a close-knit group rather than a large, national company.”

Meet Jodi Pannell-Kay, Association Manager for Ten Trails

Ten Trails is happy to introduce Jodi Pannell-Kay, Association Manager for the community! Jodi is the on-site contact for all homeowners’ association-related questions in the community, and a wonderful addition to our team! Jodi has a wealth of experience working for associations in the Palm Springs area, and she brings a high level of expertise in managing associations for large, planned communities. Jodi is a Washington native and spent a great deal of her time in her childhood ski-racing for White Pass near Packwood. Her love for adrenaline sports carried over into adulthood, and she enjoys spending her free time snowboarding and rock-climbing in addition to playing pickleball with her husband, or hiking some of the local trails. Jodi is looking forward to meeting all of the future and current residents at Ten Trails, and working with Oakpointe, Ten Trails’ developer, to continue to make the community a wonderful place for families to live. “I want to make sure everyone knows just what a welcoming community this is,” says Jodi. “My door is open, and I look forward to getting to know members of this growing community.”

Dayna recently relocated to the Seattle area from Arizona, where she worked for another master-planned community. Prior to that, Dayna worked in city planning, project management and real estate in the Phoenix area.

A Legacy of New Home Sales

Shelley has worked in the real estate and mortgage industries for more than 25 years. She started out as a document drawer for a mortgage company and ended up in what ultimately seemed like her destiny: new home sales. “My father was a spec builder in Spokane and my mom was a top real estate agent, so I guess you can say it’s in my blood,” she says. “I think I always knew I would end up working for a builder in new home sales.” Shelley was a real estate agent for Keller Williams in Kirkland when she was asked to sit in one of Conner Homes’ open houses one weekend. She fell in love with the builder’s style and craftsmanship and vowed to work for the company. “I just kept asking to sit in their homes one weekend after another until they hired me,” she says with a laugh.
